By trade and by hobby, I’m an IT guy. My official title at the company I work for is Information Systems and Security Administrator. I am fascinated with tech and really enjoy learning about it even outside of work. But I am more than just an IT guy.
I am the husband to a woman who has put up with me for fifteen years, the father of two amazing kids, and the owner of two pretty crazy Doodle dogs. I am the Chaplain of a Trail Life Troop and have two higher-education degrees in Pastoral Counseling (not to be confused with Clinical and Mental Health Counseling).
But more importantly, I am a man who pursues truth, and I’m not just talking about philosophical truth tables! I once was on the verge of committing suicide and had I not learned about the truth, I would never have gotten to where I am today. My short bio above gives you a hint at what that truth is. But in case you didn’t know, Jesus is that truth.
John 14:6 says, “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” If not for Jesus, I wouldn’t be where I am at today. And I wouldn’t have the hope that I have. This site then is a place for me to talk about the Truth, Tech, and anything else that matters to me.
